The Lord Wants Us To Be “Happy”

Psalm 2:12 | All who take refuge in him are happy. (CSB)

I know that many will read that title and jump to the conclusion that I may be settling for superficial experiences based on preferable circumstances rather than longing for deep joy and the fullness of life simply because I desire to be happy. But when we look at the rich, full meaning of the word “happy” in the Hebrew language, we are moved to a depth in our walks with the Lord that leaves us wanting to be happy at the core of our being.
